NACTT ACADEMY ANNOUNCEMENT OPEN WEB SITE AND REDUCED MEMBERSHIP FEES
As many of you are aware, the NACTT Academy For Consumer Bankruptcy Education assists the NACTT in presenting the NACTT’s annual education Program. The NACTT Academy also maintains a web site – www.ConsiderChapter13.org – and is committed to continually improving that web site and increasing the benefits of NACTT Academy membership.
Only NACTT Academy members have access to all the content of the web site; however, in order to acquaint, or reacquaint, you with the benefits of membership in the Academy, all the content of www.ConsiderChapter13.org will be open to all visitors through July 10, 2009.
Additionally, annual NACTT membership will be available through July 10, 2009 at the following reduced rates: judges, full time law school faculty and non-profit employees – annual rate $95.00/ reduced rate $85.00, and standard membership – annual rate $275.00/ reduced rate $199.00. (Chapter 13 trustee annual rates remain the same.)
Currently, NACTT Academy members have access to: a Chapter 13 Case of the Day, provided by Judges Lundin and Brown; Critical Case Comments, prepared by Hank Hildebrand; continually new articles, and an archive of prior articles, containing the thoughts of bankruptcy judges, attorneys representing debtors, attorneys representing creditors, chapter 13 trustees, law professors and others. In addition, NACTT Academy members have access to separate sections devoted to the ongoing mortgage morass, ethics issues, podcast interviews, and various special series, such as the quarterly Variety of Views series and a current series of articles focused on litigation. The web site also includes additional assistance and information, a helpful collection of links and blogs and other membership benefits, including reduced prices on purchases. Every Monday, all members receive an email – This Week at the NACTT Academy – highlighting recent additions to the web site, with links to the featured articles or sections.
Beginning this July, the web site is adding sections which will provide members the opportunity to exchange comments with each other on articles and begin discussions on other chapter 13 topics.
The web site – www.ConsiderChapter13.org – remains the unique web site in the legal universe for the comprehensive consideration of chapter 13 issues.
